Houston Cup 2024

HVGA will be hosting our first ever Houston Cup! A matchplay formatted civil war amongst your fellow HVGA family. The Houston Cup is the year end event where all of HVGA rallies together to ultimately create the most intense yet exciting competition of our 2024 season!
Format: 2 Rounds Matchplay
● 2 Man Modified Alternate Shot
● 2 Man Best Ball
Team: Each team will consist of 46 players, 92 total participants
Cost: $160
Includes:
1. 2x Rounds of Golf
2. Lunch
3. Custom Team Apparel
Payment Due By: August 18th, 2024
Eligibility:
Participants must be paid members of the 2024 season with a minimum of (1) round during
the 2024 season, including August/September of 2023 tournaments.
Team Roster:
All HVGA members are drafted to either Team Hot Spot or Team Diamond Boy by their team
captains, Justin Vu (Team Hot Spot) & Andrew Nguyen (Team Diamond Boy).

Practice Rounds:
Dates:
● 1st Practice: August 24th, 2024 (3pm Starting Tee Time)
● 2nd Practice: September 7th, 2024 (3pm Starting Tee Time)
Location: Wildcat
Each practice round is purposed to prepare every player for match play style competition as well
as help Captains select the final team and partner pairings. Attending these practice rounds is
highly recommended! *The practice rounds are priced at discount rates.
